The February TACA meeting was held at Ed Lockett's gallery in Bristol, One of a Kind Gallery. A big thank you goes out to Ed for welcoming the TACA group and providing refreshments. It was nice for everyone to be able to see his gallery.
The TACA May Fair is coming up soon and it looks like we will once again participate in the Chapter Booth.
The State of Franklin Chapter's 2010 budget was presented and it was approved by the membership.
TACA member Bill Collison is collecting information about what TACA members are doing in education--demos, classes, etc. He's hoping to get information that will help with grant applications. There will be more information to come on this.
Bill Collison presented the February program to the group. It was titled "Works-In-Progress" or Marketing Art, an overview of marketing questions to ask yourself and an outline of their marketing plan. Thanks to Bill for an informative and entertaining program.
A reminder has been sent out to members who have not renewed for 2010. If you do not plan to renew your membership, please inform Netta Shepherd, netta73@hotmail.com .
The TACA website, http://www.stateoffranklinfinecrafts.org , needs to be updated for this year. If you have any new photos or changes to your contact info, please send that to Netta as well.
The next meeting is set for April 27, 2010. Location details will be sent later.
